"InterRisk Vienna Insurance Group" AAS
On December 27, 2017 reorganization of “InterRisk Vienna Insurance Group” AAS was finalized as a result of which “InterRisk Vienna Insurance Group” AAS was acquired by AAS “BTA Baltic Insurance Company”. Insurance portfolio of “InterRisk Vienna Insurance Group” AAS was transferred to AAS “BTA Baltic Insurance Company” and “InterRisk Vienna Insurance Group” AAS finished its activities without liquidation.
In accordance with Decision No. 6 of the Board of the Financial and Capital Market Commission of 09.01.2018, all operating licences issued to the “InterRisk Vienna Insurance Group” AAS have been withdrawn.

How to become a market participant
In order to become a participant of Latvian financial and capital markets and commence business activities, a credit institution, an insurance company, a reinsurance company, an insurance broker, a credit union, an investment management company, an investment firm, an operator of regulated market, a pension fund, a payment institution, an electronic money institution, as well as an alternative investment fund manager shall obtain operating authorisation (licence).
